Services

Heart of the Woods, LLC offers hypnotherapy services for personal development, stress reduction, and behavior modification. Our services are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients are expected to behave respectfully during sessions. Any inappropriate behavior may result in termination of services.

Termination of Services

Heart of the Woods, LLC reserves the right to terminate services if a client poses a risk to themselves or others, engages in illegal activities, or violates the terms of service.

Age Requirement

Clients must be at least 18 years old or have the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Collaborative Approach

The success of hypnotherapy often depends on your active participation and willingness to be open and engaged in the process.

Client Responsibilities & Confidentiality

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their medical and psychological history to ensure the safe and effective delivery of hypnotherapy services.

Scope of Practice

The client understands that Hypnotherapy/Hypnocoaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, mental, medical, or other qualified professionals and will seek independent professional guidance for such matters.

Clients agree and understand that Leah is a Hypnotherapist/Hypnocoach and, as such, is not a licensed therapist or psychologist.

Informed Consent

By signing below, the client confirms they have read, understood, and voluntarily consent to hypnotherapy services, understanding its nature, potential benefits, and limitations.

Voluntary Participation

Participation in hypnotherapy is entirely voluntary, and you have the right to withdraw from therapy at any time.

Assumption of Risk

The client acknowledges that they are voluntarily participating in hypnotherapy services and assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may result, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

No Guarantees

Clients take full responsibility for their actions. Heart of the Woods, LLC makes no guarantees regarding the outcomes of hypnotherapy sessions. Results may vary, and individual experiences differ.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heart of the Woods, LLC and its owner, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of our services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific session in question.

Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Heart of the Woods, LLC, its owner, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of the client's use of services or violation of these terms.

No Emergency Services

Heart of the Woods, LLC is not equipped to handle psychiatric emergencies. If you are in crisis, please contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911 immediately if you are within the USA. Please seek appropriate international emergency services for your location."

Online & Remote Services

Heart of the Woods, LLC offers sessions virtually via video conferencing, phone, or other remote platforms. All virtual sessions are subject to the same terms and conditions as in-person sessions.

The client is solely responsible for ensuring they are in a private, safe, quiet, and distraction-free environment during all remote sessions. Heart of the Woods, LLC is not responsible for any technical difficulties, connectivity interruptions, platform outages, or any consequences arising from such issues during a session. In the event of a technical disruption, every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule or resume the session.

International Clients & Jurisdiction

Heart of the Woods, LLC is based in North Carolina, USA. Services are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of North Carolina, regardless of the location of the client. By engaging our services, international clients agree that any disputes will be handled in North Carolina, USA, and not in the client's home country or jurisdiction.

International clients are solely responsible for ensuring that the use of hypnotherapy services is legal and permitted in their country, region, or jurisdiction. Heart of the Woods, LLC makes no representations that its services comply with the laws of any jurisdiction outside of the United States. It is the client's responsibility to seek local legal guidance if needed.

Privacy & Data Storage

Client information is stored securely and will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties except as required by law. International clients, including those in the European Union or United Kingdom, acknowledge that their personal data may be stored on servers located in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as their home country. By using our services, international clients consent to this data transfer and storage.

Currency & Payment

All fees for Heart of the Woods, LLC services are charged in United States Dollars (USD). International clients are responsible for any currency conversion fees, international transaction charges, or additional fees imposed by their financial institution or payment provider. Heart of the Woods, LLC is not responsible for any such additional costs.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours rescheduling or cancellation notice via email. Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled session time are subject to a $50 fee. Clients sign and agree to terms and conditions upon scheduling.

All sales are final for Private Hypnotherapy and Hypno Travel Coaching sessions. However, there's no contract, no obligation, and no pressure!
